The validity of the presented controller concept is shown on a preliminary level via comparison of open-loop and closed-loop dynamics at two representative flight points and a time simulation which includes a segment of the planned mission. Second, a controller concept based on inversion of the rotational equations of motion is derived. In this paper, analysis of stability and controllability is used on a three-dimensional envelope of points to derive a suitable flight corridor for the re-entry. In the DLR project ReFEx (reusability flight experiment), in the context of which this paper is presented, a winged VTHL (vertical takeoff, horizontal landing) concept is investigated to develop the key technologies for future winged RLV applications, culminating in a flight experiment to demonstrate the capability of controlled autonomous return flight from supersonic to subsonic speeds. The project CALLISTO (Cooperative Action Leading to Launcher Innovation in Stage Toss-back Operations) investigates a VTVL (vertical takeoff, vertical landing) concept. Using focal plane arrays of either 160x120 or 80圆0 active pixels, Lepton easily integrates into native mobile-devices and other electronics as an IR sensor or thermal imager. The FLIR Lepton® is a radiometric-capable LWIR camera solution that is smaller than a dime, fits inside a smartphone, and is one tenth the cost of traditional IR cameras. This is a development kit ready to be embedded into a production system. The PTMini Pro also features four mounting holes, less complex circuitry, and perhaps best of all, USB DFU. It has multiple connection options such as solder straight to the board or a custom cable using the JST-SR port. For developers, its reference firmware and viewer software are open source. Just like its PureThermal 2 predecessor, it ships pre-configured to operate as a plug-and-play UVC 1.0 USB thermal webcam that will work with standard webcam and video apps on all major platforms using a JST-SR to USB Cable, or your own custom cable. The FLIR Lepton® is a radiometric-capable LWIR OEM camera solution that is smaller than a dime, fits inside a smartphone, and is one tenth the cost of traditional IR cameras. I want to do my own calibration and the images i got are always a 2D Matrix with temperature values in centi Kelvin. The new PureThermal Mini Pro JST-SR with Thermal by FLIR is a hackable thermal camera for the FLIR Lepton thermal imaging camera core. Hello, I am using a Flir Lepton 3.5 and everything worked fine, till now.
